end // start

30/04/2015

April is coming to an end. On paper, it has been a shitty month. March was ended and replaced with April but the sorrow were still the same. Medically, I had 3 issues. First, I puked on the 13th of April, then I had severe diarrhea throughout the next two days. Then on the 26th of April, I injured my right leg, landed awkwardly attempting to catch a disc in frisbee, just a minor sore. Nothing severe but was unable to walk for a couple of days, and yesterday, 29th of April, well, I'm officially down with the flu.

Hey, but that's okay. I'd still love the month of April, it's the month of innocence, the month of change, the month when springs starts to come forth and with it blooms the beauty of the sakura flowers. The month of April gave me a great celebration for my birthday and another reminder that I still have my family. A family that I will never be able to get rid of, and I love them for it.

A lot of the days during this special month, I spent it indoors. Attempting to get away from reality, the harsh, cold and cruel world. Any interaction with another human being was quickly swatted away, aside from a couple of good persistent beings. You know who you are. The space under the blanket never felt more comforting than before, even though it's probably 33°C outside. I guess you never really know what's worth until you don't feel it's presence lingering around.

I'm sure by now you guys know of my love for Casey Neistat. He's an amazing filmmaker and an inspiring human being. And his number one motto is that, he never look back with regret. Sure he has made mistakes before, in fact, a ton of them but it was those mistakes that made him who he is today. So he doesn't regret making those mistakes, in fact, he's having them as a motivation to be a better person tomorrow. And that's what I'm going to do. Tomorrow will be the first day of May.

I'll be a better person to myself, to my family and to people who I love and care of. I'll quit my slacking off and start studying for the dreaded A2 that's crying and taunting me every single day and not let the hard-earned money go to waste. I'll be finding and learning a new word everyday, expand your vocabulary, expand your voice note, expand everything you have. Identify, acknowledge and improve. That's it.

So be good, and do good, and good will eventually come to you.
